Electronic Technician (Security Technician / Installer)
Due to growth, we have multiple openings for Electronic Technicians. In this role, you will perform service on security products at customer sites. Job Responsibilities
As an Electronic Technician, you will provide on-site and remote customer support for all post-installation problems on security systems and equipment as well as work on special projects when needed. This involves performing service on intrusion detection systems and equipment, fire detection systems and equipment, CCTV systems and equipment, and access control systems and equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing on-site diagnosis of problems and non-technical fixes
- Troubleshooting and repairing system failures
- Performing scheduled cleanings and preventive maintenance
- Contacting customer with the estimated time of arrival
- Escalating problems and reassigning calls when appropriate
- Accurately reporting service data
- Interacting in a professional manner with customers to foster positive customer relations
- Maintaining effective communication with Support Services Team and management
- Developing working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and procedures
- Organizing and managing truck stock parts and tools
Job Requirements

Technician requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Vocational or specialized training beyond high school in Electronics or Electrical Engineering Technology
- 3+ years of work experience in electronics
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of intrusion detection systems, electronic access control, CCTV, IP video, surveillance systems, fire alarm, and life safety systems
- Working knowledge of S2 Security, DSC, Exacqvision, Verint, and Fire Alarm product solutions, preferred
- State electrical trade license and NICET certifications, preferred
- Experience in commercial, Fortune 1000, healthcare, or government electronic security maintenance, service, or installation, preferred
- Ability to stand most of the day, occasionally lift heavy loads, and work long hours
- Sense of urgency, organizational skills, professional presence and work in team environment
| Low Voltage Apprentice Technician -
Service & Installation
The Opportunity:
As a project based business, you will play a fundamental role in the company's success! We're looking for someone who ideally has some security experience, or has the aptitude to learn the business as apprentices looking to join this field.
Job Responsibilities:
- Installation of cabling infrastructure and devices during regular and overtime hours as required for Data, Acess Control, Audio Visual and CCTV.
- Installation / service duties include pre-wiring, installation, termination, testing and labeling.
- Working on a variety of sites including, but not limited to, construction sites, finished corporate offices and healthcare environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, including complete and accurate paperwork.
- Weekend and travel if required
- Working safely at all times.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

- The ability to work various working conditions e.g. heights confined spaces.
