At Venture Communications & Security, our years of combined experience spans the IP video of today with the traditional analog video most have come to know. BANDWIDTH... BUDGET... IMAGINATION!
While analog video still comprises nearly 80% of CCTV sales, the technology is costing more money to make fewer incremental gains. IP video, on the other hand, is the future - offering higher quality and greater clarity video in an extremely scalable solution. IP cameras are created to make intelligent decisions with many built-in capabilities, and can provide anytime, anywhere access. A powerful array of investigation tools enable accurate and efficient examination of events and exceptions. Recording management software allows ease of use when monitoring and retrieving video for post-incident review - on-site and remotely.
IP Video security and software recording solutions are a force multiplier. The applications are endless. The future is intelligent video. The solutions are by Venture Communications & Security.
Compliant with the H.264 High Profile Format, UniPhier® technology has made it possible to stream High Definition images using as little as half as much data. The proprietary LSI also enables intelligent features such as face detection and face matching.
i-PRO SmartHD cameras combine Face Wide Dynamic Range and 3rd generation i-PRO SmartHD technology to detect and recognize faces in automatic real time- even with multiple individuals in a frame.
The Real Time Face Matching function in the WJ-NV200 NVR matches registers face images with a face displayed on a live camera feed. Once the face is detected and matched, an alarm notification can be sent by e-mail, Panasonic system alarm, terminal output, buzzer or indicator.
1.3 MOS Sensor
The unique technology of 3rd generation i-PRO is the MOS sensor that realizes High Definition (HD) images with exquisite color reproduction. Additionally, i-PRO SmartHD cameras have dramatically improved low light capability so you can clearly view images in virtually any lighting condition.

Panasonic's pursuit for cutting edge technology continues with i-PRO SmartHD. The third generation i-PRO technology boasts Full HD image viewing quality, H.264 (High Profile) Compression and Face Detection and Face Matching capabilities. i-PRO regular features such as Adaptive Black Stretch (ABS), High Sensitivity and Auto Back Focus (ABF) are all present, taking the i-PRO portfolio to a whole new level. The cameras are available in fixed dome, fixed box or PTZ format.
On-Net Surveillance Systems, Inc. offers a comprehensive IP video surveillance control and management software solution. Ocularis, OnSSI's video-centric Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) is the platform is the platform for comprehensive IP video management. Coupled with Ocularis' state-of-the-art user interface and efficient workflow, users can monitor and manage events from multiple vendors' security products under a single umbrella.
With core competencies rooted in both the IT and professional security markets, OnSSI's unique solution provides feature-rich camera management, sophisticated recording and archiving, automatic Push Live-Video-on-event and control-room video-wall management for a wide range of municipalities, federal and local government agencies, as well as enterprise, industrial, and educational settings.
As the convergence of physical security and traditional IT applications continues to evolve, security professionals require a new set of tools to help them manage their systems more efficiently. OnSSI offers an innovative IP solution providing the functionality, scalability and lower total cost of ownership required to move to a truly integrated IP security operational platform. Our IP video system management solutions are different than traditional video surveillance systems because we approach the application from a true IT perspective, which is evidenced by the open architecture and hardware agnostics of our solution, as well as its extensive software-driven functionality and ease of operation. This provides an ideal gateway for users looking to take advantage of the inherent benefits offered by IP systems using their existing systems, and for new IP based deployments.
The intelligence built into OnSSI's IP video surveillance system management solution crosses several operational parameters. We are focused most on what security professionals ‘need’ to see and record, versus seeing and recording everything. By utilizing advanced analytics to detect and filter events, OnSSI’s IP Video Surveillance System Management Solution employs “push” technologies similar to those found in diverse IT management and reporting applications. This provides a more pragmatic approach to IP video and integrated physical security systems without any sacrifice of performance or security operations.
New with Ocularis v2.0:
Now available for all sizes and types of organizations
"The latest release of Ocularis is offered in four different feature sets – Ocularis PS, IS, CS and ES - all scalable to virtually any number of cameras at multiple sites. Now, organizations of all types and sizes, are now able to boost the productivity of their entire security system, resulting in better security and lower cost of operation.
Increased value at a lower price point
Dollar for dollar, Ocularis v2.0 gives you more value. At every level you get a comprehensive multi-site, multi-server IP-video surveillance and security system, to meet your exact needs at a much lower cost than ever before.
Performance enhancements for large implementations
From an all-new set of recorder modules to multiple user and event management enhancements, Ocularis v2.0 increases the efficiency and productivity of implementations running hundreds and thousands of cameras and detectors.
The New Ocularis Client
Dozens of enhancements in the new client allow users to get alerts and handle events faster and more efficiently, including instant camera-offline notification and controls for recording and PTZ patrolling. Operators are now also able to customize the interface to suit their needs and preferences with keyboard shortcuts to controls, cameras and presets, on-the-fly carousel setup and much more.
Single Management Application
Ocularis v2.0’s redesigned recorder management application eliminates the need for separate configuration utilities for different video management functions. Now featuring live video previews, the new management application employs multiple wizards and one-step configuration for camera, event and user batch operations.
Superior Imagery with Megapixel Cameras. The image is so detailed that it allows operators to identify subjects on a whole new level when compared to existing analog systems. Alternatively it can capture an area four times larger while maintaining the same image quality of conventional cameras.
Digital Noise Reduction eliminates wasted recording time and space. It is necessary to amplify the image signal when capturing images under low light conditions. This, however, causes an increase in noise as well. With DNR, the camera realizes a clear low noise image with less motion blur and resolution deterioration - and less drive/storage consumption.
Auto Back Focuseliminates costs associated with labor required to manually adjust focus when installing cameras or changing location, lowering installation and maintenance costs. It can also be automatically activated when switching from color to B/W mode or vice versa providing the best focus in each mode. This results in a precise focus 24 hours a day, day and night.
When there is a high contrast between dark and bright areas, it is difficult to reproduce an image satisfying both dark and bright areas. Dark areas disappear if the camera is set to capture the bright areas. Conversely, if the iris is adjusted to the dark areas, bright areas will be washed out. This has been a particular problem with conventional surveillance cameras. Super Dynamic III and MegaSuper Dynamic technology optimize contrast and reproduces objects in every area and every level of brightness, delivering smoother natural reproduction regardless of position, size, shape or number of bright/dark areas.
Progressive Video Output... i-Pro network cameras provide progressive video output by using a progressive scan CCD, ensuring clear images with less motion blur and no tearing even when the subject is moving.
Auto image stabilizer digitally cancels the vibration on image enabling a camera to be installed where vibration or wind is a concern.
